I was apart of a discussion recently about the lack of a formal paperhammer community site that would allow us to track and update our paperhammer 40k releated downloads. The archive site at BWC is limited by a number of problems, namely the fact that the filesize limit is so low, and that it's built off of list serv technology, which about 15 years outdated. The list of wants included a forum as well as an extensive download section, obviously, with some way to rate the files to filter out the better models. After all, there are like 10 rhino variants floating around out there.
Additionally, what I wanted to see was a download area dedicated to robocutter files, for those of us blessed with a Silhouette SD. After much discussion, I realized that I'm probably one of the only folks financially well off enough, and dedicated enough to actually manage and maintain such a site, so this weekend, I have began work on a site dedicated to just that. It's going to be a week or so until I get the details ironed out, but it is, in fact underway. Stay tuned for more updates! After that site goes live, I'll probably relocate my blog over there, as there won't be much of a point of keeping it here.
